The PXW-FS5 features a Super 35mm Exmor CMOS sensor and Sony E-mount, delivering a cinematic image with excellent low-light performance and shallow depth of field. Its compact 830g body makes it particularly well suited to handheld and location shooting, while the professional control layout provides quick access to key camera functions.
The Super 35mm sensor provides high-quality 4K imagery with excellent sensitivity and dynamic range, making the FS5 suitable for demanding professional productions and low-light environments.
The interchangeable Sony E-mount allows the camera to be configured with a wide range of lenses. Built-in electronic variable ND filtration provides smooth exposure control without changing shutter speed or aperture.
The FS5 supports XAVC QFHD 4K recording, Full HD XAVC and AVCHD formats, with Slow & Quick Motion recording for creative slow-motion effects. It also provides professional connections including 3G-SDI, HDMI and dual XLR audio inputs.
