Audix D4 Drum Microphone

$0.00

Make sure your sound’s low-end has that propulsive kick! The D-4 really puts that extra “oomph” in your kick drum, bass amp, and other low instruments thanks to its flat, linear response. With a wide frequency response of 40 Hz – 18 kHz and the ability to handle SPLs in excess of 144 dB, the D4 dynamic instrument microphone is an excellent choice for miking instruments requiring precise, low-frequency reproduction such as large rack toms, floor toms, Cajon, djembe, tympani, Leslie bottom, bass flute, saxophone and baritone saxophone, trombone, acoustic bass, bass cabinets, and small kick drums.

The D4 is used for stage, studio, and broadcast applications. Designed with a Hyper cardioid pickup pattern for isolation and feedback control, the D4 is equipped with a VCM diaphragm for natural, accurate sound reproduction. The D4 is lightweight, compact, and easy to position. With a wide frequency response of 40 Hz – 18 kHz and the ability to handle spls in excess of 144 dB, The D4 is an excellent choice for making instruments requiring precise low-frequency reproduction such as large rack Toms, floor toms, Cajon, djembe, tympani, Leslie bottom, bass flute, saxophone and baritone sax, trombone, acoustic bass, bass cabinets, and small kick drums.

The D4 is manufactured with a precision machined aluminum body, Black anodized finish, laser etched model and serial number, steel mesh grill, switch craft XLR connector and is supplied with a tension-fit heavy-duty nylon microphone clip.
